Apple Picking!

I was in my last few weeks of pregnancy and we decided that we should get some apples before baby number four made his appearance. The drive out beside the lake is simply beautiful so we decided to head out to Wynn Farms on HWY 33. Daddy challenged the kids to find the biggest apples the trees had to offer and apple pie, crumble and muffins is what became of most of them. But who can resist the crunch of a ripe, juicy Mac?

Teddy Bear Picnic

On Saturday, August 24th, Lake Ontario Park was flooded with nearly 4000 people for the 19th Annual Teddy Bear Picnic! What a fantastic day! Camping in Sharbot Lake

A few weeks ago, our family camped at Sharbot Lake Provincial Park. The kids enjoyed swimming at the beach, toasting marshmallows and building sand castles! A great little spot, good fishing too!
